Julia is an employment lawyer who advises on the full range of employment issues with a focus on contentious matters and negotiated exits.
Julia has represented senior individuals, UHNWs and employers in a range of employment claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment and victimisation. She has a particular interest in disputes involving discrimination. Julia has experience in mediations, Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation. She also has experience advising both employer clients and individuals on settlement agreements and negotiated exits.
She has a background in financial services and a particular interest in the retail and charity sectors but has worked with clients in a range of industries including law, banking, retail, and media and entertainment. She advises Employer clients on day-to-day employment matters, employment contracts, policies and procedures (including the duty to prevent sexual harassment), redundancy procedures and employee sickness and misconduct.
In her leisure time Julia enjoys travelling, hiking with friends and running.
Julia was admitted as a solicitor in February 2023 and was elected onto the Junior Employment Lawyers Association committee. Julia has a first-class law degree from Durham, where she received a prize for Employment Law.
